(MENAFN) Based on the official data released by the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Sunday, daily energy usage in Turkey declined by 3.9 percent on Saturday in comparison to the prior day, standing at 906,813 megawatts per hours.
According to TEIAS figures, hourly power usage reached 42,212 megawatts per hours at 03.00 p.m. regional time (1200 GMT). At 07.00 a.m. regional time (0400 GMT), the nation’s electricity consumption declined to the lowest point of 31,269 megawatts per hours.
On Saturday, there were 894,755 megawatts per hours of electricity produced, a 3.77 percent reduction from Friday.
Natural gas power factories comprised by 31.9 percent of the entire amount of energy produced, with imported coal power factories and hydro power factories constituted by 22.5 percent and 14 percent, correspondingly.
The nation's electrical exports on Saturday were 13,991 megawatts per hours, while its imports were 26,049 megawatts per hours.
