(MENAFN) The National Salvation Government, based in Sana'a, has issued a warning regarding the suspicious movements of American and French forces in the southern Yemeni territory that has been under occupation since 2015. Yemen has been the scene of a bloody Saudi-led war since 2015.
The presiding board of the Yemeni parliament issued a warning against any suspicious activity by US and French-affiliated forces in the country's southern seized cities, two of the major Western backers of the Riyadh-led war against Yemen.
According to the Saba news agency, the parliament also urged vigilance in the face of "treacherous" measures by the aggressor coalition led by Saudi Arabia to obstruct the implementation of the cease-fire.
The coalition and Ansarullah originally agreed to a ceasefire in April, which was mediated by the UN. After that, the cease-fire was twice extended. However, Sana'a has documented numerous breaches of the ceasefire by the Saudi-led forces.
It also issued a warning regarding the dubious role played by the so-called presidential leadership council established by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which the legislature claimed was created to further the US, UK, and Israel's agenda of severing Yemen and undermining its unity, sovereignty, security, and stability.
