Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul opens Thursday’s session unaffected


(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index Borsa Istanbul opened level at 2.979,41 points on Thursday, increasing 0.02 percent, or 0.59 points, from the prior end.

The US dollar/Turkish lira trade price was decreased to 17.9647 as of 10 AM regional time (0700GMT), from 17.9660 at the prior end.

The euro/Turkish lira trade price declined to 18.2473 from 18.2650, whereas a British pound sold for 21.5859 Turkish liras, dropping from 21.7890 at the prior end.

One ounce of gold exchanged for USD1,780.15 by market end, as shown by statistics from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Market.

International benchmark Brent crude exchanged at USD92.92 a barrel at 09.58 a.m. regional time (0658 GMT) for a 0.63 percent decline from the ending price of USD92.34 per barrel in the prior exchange session.

American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at USD87.19 a barrel at the same span of time for a 0.76 percent earn after the prior session ended at USD86.53 per barrel.
