EU's shipped in gas from Russia decline 70 percent in July YoY

(MENAFN) Europe's shipped in natural gas from Russia declined by nearly 70 percent to under 100 million cubic meters a day last month in comparison with the same month of 2021.

Imports declined to 100 million cubic meters as of last month from nearly 300 million cubic meters of gas a day in the same month in 2021, in line with figures from the International Energy Agency collected by Anadolu Agency.

The IEA additionally estimates a decline under 80 million cubic meters in the approaching months.

European nations shipped in on average nearly 400 million cubic meters of gas a day from Russia throughout the first 7-month period in 2021, but imports fell to 240 million cubic meters a day for the same 7 months in 2022.
