(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, August 16, 2022, SPA -- The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The report said that the thundershowers, accompanied active winds are still forecasted to fall on Jazan, Asir and Baha Regions, while thunderstorms, accompanied active winds will continue to occur on some parts of Makkah, Madinah and Tabuk Regions, extending to some parts of Al-Jawf region, as well as some parts of Najran Region, along with the southern parts of the Eastern Region (Empty Quarter).
The report added that the surface dusty winds will still active on some parts of the eastern and central and Regions, reducing the horizontal sight.
The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at speed of 25-40 km/h, on northern and central parts, and southwesterly to northwesterly at speed of 15-30 km/h, on southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be westerly to northwesterly, gradually turning northeasterly at speed of 10-25km/h.
