Dhaka : Turkish Airlines has resumed its free stopover service in Istanbul for Bangladeshi passengers following a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Effectively immediately, Bangladeshi passengers who have transit duration between two flights lasting 20 hours or more on Turkish Airlines' flights can enjoy the free stopover service in Istanbul.
Passengers can enjoy complimentary hotel stay of one night in a four-star hotel for Economy Class and two nights in a five-star hotel for Business Class, the airline said in a notice.
The free accommodation facility is available for round-trip tickets. However, visa fees, the cost of travel around the city, and between the airport and hotel are to be borne by the passenger.
Departure and return country of the round trip must be the same for a stopover to apply. Hence, for passengers departing Bangladesh, the return country of the round trip must be Bangladesh too to avail this offer.
The offer is available for passengers departing Bangladesh and arriving to USA, Canada, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and Ireland.
