FM of Iran warns US from talking to Iran by language of force

(MENAFN) Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the foreign minister of Iran, has warned the United States from talking to the Iranian people in a powerful manner.

In a post on Twitter on Saturday, Amir Abdollahian commented in a reply to latest U.S. statements on Iran over a false plan to kill previous Leader Donald Trump's national security adviser John Bolton.

The top Iranian envoi stressed that “history ought to have taught the U.S. that language of threat against Iran and Iranians achieves nothing.”

“Futile attempts at deflection won't allow the U.S. to evade responsibility for the thousands of Iranian and other victims of its involvement in terrorist crimes in our region,” he went on to say.

The U.S. Department of Justice blamed a man going by the name of Shahram Poursafi of trying to arrange the assassination of Bolton in revenge for the U.S. bombing in January two years ago that killed Iran's fabled anti-terror president Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
