Qatar Win Two More Medals At Konya 2021 Games

Qatari discus thrower Moaaz Ibrahim celebrates on the podium after winning the silver medal during the Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkiye, yesterday.

Ibrahim registered a personal best of 61.35m at the Konya Metropolitan Stadium.

Also joining the list of Qatari medal winners yesterday was shooter Rashid Al Athba who won the bronze medal in men's trap event. Qatar have won six medals so far at Konya 2021 with Abu Bakr Abdullah (800m gold), Musab Ali (3000m steeplechase bronze),

Maram Al Fatnasy (women's taekwondo - 67kg class bronze) and Bassem Hemeida (400m hurdles gold) booking podium spots in their respective events.


Qatar volleyball players in action during their match against hosts Turkiye in which Al Annabi won 3-1.
