FBI director criticizes aggressive threats made by Donald Trump's followers

(MENAFN) The FBI has criticized Donald Trump's supporters who endangered the agency on social media after US law execution officials invaded the ex US leader's Florida home of Mar-a-Lago on Monday.

Mr Trump's supporters published threatening declarations on Gab, a fringe social media website famous among the far right members.

Discussing at a press meeting on Wednesday, FBI director Christopher Wray stated that he was “always concerned about violence and threats of violence against law enforcement”.

“Any threats made against law enforcement, including the men and women of the FBI, as with any law enforcement agency, are deplorable and dangerous,” he stated, in reply to a journalist’s enquiry around the remarks on social media.

One person going by the name of Stephen published on Gab that he was anticipating “the call” to base an armed riot.

The post stated that “All it takes is one call. And millions will arm up and take back this country. It will be over in less than 2 weeks.”
