Representatives of Iran, U.S., P4+1 group of nations head to capitals after discussions in Vienna

(MENAFN) After four days of serious discussions, the representatives of Iran, the U.S., and the P4+1 group of nations went to their capitals for consultations on a contested text presented by the director of the discussions.

On Monday, the Iranian discussing team went back to Tehran after resolving intensive discussions on a set of thorny concerns that have long anticipated a U.S. political verdict.

Throughout the discussions, Iran showed its opinions as well as relative progress was made concerning some problems, in line with a senior Iranian foreign ministry official.

On the last day of discussions, Enrique Mora, the EU coordinator for the meetings, offered some ideas to all sides, Iran offered its preliminary reply and stated the final reply was only possible after a thorough review of the ideas.

“Such issues need to be studied thoroughly and we will give our final response to the coordinator of the Vienna talks and other sides,” the Iranian official stated.
