Major preparations for Katara International Hunting and Falcons exhibition (S'hail) are ongoing. It will be held from September 5 to 10.

With less than a month before the event begins, tents have already been set up at Al Hikam Square at the Cultural Village Foundation, Katara next to the Drama Theatre or near Building 16. In a video posted by S'hail on its official Facebook page, it shows that workers are finishing the flooring where the six-day exhibition will take place.

Throughout the succeeding weeks, the exhibition hall will be divided to different zones featuring stores for selling falcons, hunting equipment, hunting guns, hunting vehicle outfitting and supplies for outdoor sports. Also, display of falcons and falconry, and advanced technology tools needed to serve the hobby of hunting, among others.

The sixth edition of the expo will showcase premium falcons, hunting and falconry equipment from all around the world. Considered one of the largest of its kind, it aims to promote the hobby of hunting and Qatar's rich Arab heritage. It also seeks to boost mutually beneficial relationships between traders and falcon owners both locally and internationally, and to explore products and services.

Two hundred fifty companies from 19 countries took part in the fifth edition last year. Among those who participated are United Kingdom, the United States of America, Albania, Russia, Poland, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand, and other Gulf countries.

Meanwhile, the committee of S'hail earlier announced that they are providing the opportunity for participating companies an 'online pavilion' at its mobile application that enables them to display their various products. Special hotel offers are also being offered to visitors of the exhibition which can be accessed through scanning the QR code at S'hail's social media pages.

Tickets for the exhibition will soon be available at S'hail website and its mobile application.

S'hail, under Katara, a platform recognised for hunting and falconry in the country, was established in 2017. It aims to preserve and create awareness about Qatar's rich cultural legacy by organising world-class exhibition, larger-than-life events and activities, awareness programmes and supporting educational and environmental initiatives at both national and global levels.
