Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at the Amiri Diwan office on Tuesday morning HE Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC) Moussa Faki Mahamat, on the occasion of his visit to the country.
During the meeting, cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the African Union in various fields were reviewed.
HE Moussa Faki Mahamat expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for the State of Qatar's efforts in hosting the Chadian peace negotiations.
HE also hailed the success of these negotiations and the signing of the Doha Peace Agreement, stressing that it represents an important step towards achieving peace in Chad through the anticipated inclusive national dialogue.
