Normal Summer Weather To Persist For Remainder Of Week

Amman, Aug. 9 (Petra) -- Temperatures on Monday are forecast to hover around their annual average, with normal summer weather prevailing in most regions, while it will be hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Similar conditions will continue for the remainder of the week, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 33 and 31 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 20C or even 15C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 42C and a low of 28C.
