China claims Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan is maneuver by US

(MENAFN) Beijing has proposed that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-California) Taiwan trip could have been part of a maneuver by the US targeted at establishing an excuse to install additional amount of its army to the district.

In an announcement made through his trip to Bangladesh and issued on Sunday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated that “there are signs that the United States is trying to repeat its old tricks.”

The envoy explained that Washington has a past of “creating a problem first, and then using it to realize its own strategic plans” somewhere else in other countries.

In line with the minister, local players must compete with the ramping up of America’s forces existence in the area of Taiwan.

Beijing retold Washington that “Taiwan is not part of the United States, but China’s territory,” and that by showing them the permission to Pelosi’s trip, the US had broken a promise on its previously declared pledge to China’s regional honesty.
