Iran’s production of iron ore pellet surges 21 percent in Q1
(MENAFN) Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) declared that manufacture of iron ore pellet in Iran surged by 21 percent in the first 3 months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21 – July 22), in comparison to the same span of time in the last year.
IMIDRO stated that over 11.351 million tons of iron ore pellets were manufactured in the opening 3 months of the current year, whereas the number stood at 9.37 million tons in the same period of the past year.
As mentioned in reports, Golgohar Mining and Industrial firm was the biggest manufacturer of pellets throughout the first quarter span of time with 3.332 million tons of outputs, shadowed by Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company (MIDHCO) with 1.858 million tons, Sangan Mining Industries firm with 1.315 million tons, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial firm with 1.184 million tons, Opal Parsian Sangan Industrial and Mining firm with 953,090 million tons, as well as Sabanour Mining and Industrial Development firm with 132,713 tons.
