Palestinian Health Authorities Warn Against Escalating Aggression

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, Aug 6 (KUNA) -- Palestinian Health Spokesperson Dr. Ashraf Al-Qadra warned on Saturday against the escalating aggression by the Israeli occupation in Gaza Strip after the Palestinian death toll topped 13.
'The 13 Palestinian martyrs include a five-year-old girl and a 23-year-old woman besides 114 wounded persons,' Al-Qadra said at a press conference, noting that the Israeli blitz resulted also in power outage in Gaza.
He stressed that the power outage poses a serious threat to the health authorities, especially emergency departments, intensive care units, operations, dialysis departments, laboratories, nurseries, laundries, oxygen systems and medical gases.
Israeli fighter aircrafts continue, for the second day, to attack civilian buildings and homes causing serious damage to dozens of neighborhoods and areas. (end)
