(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, Aug 6 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation forces continued bombardment of several locations in Gaza Strip on Saturday, which resulted in the death of 11 Palestinians and the injury of more than 80 people, according to latest figures.
Palestinian health authorities said in a statement that the air strikes included Khan Yunis, Beit Lahia in northern Gaza and Shuja'iyya neighborhood.
A press report broadcasted by the Israeli Channel stated that the Palestinian resistance fired 180 rockets during the operation, and in the early morning warning alarms were on several areas.
The Israel Defense forces on Friday launched 'Breaking Dawn' operation in the Gaza Strip, following days of tensions due to the killing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Tayseer Khaled. (end)
