Another Bridge Reportedly Damaged In Kherson, Further Hindering Russian Logistics

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Residents of the occupied city of Kherson in southern Ukraine reported that on the evening of Friday, August 5, they once again heard a series of explosions and saw bright flashes in the sky near one of the local bridges.

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to Channel 24.

Locals took to social media to report that Ukraine seems to have attacked the Dariivsky bridge across the Inhulets River and the positions of Russian troops next to it.

'At 23:20, there were strikes on the Dariivsky bridge or somewhere near,' one of the netizens wrote.

Earlier blasts were reported in the occupied town of Nova Kakhovka, where an air-raid siren went off.

So far, there has been no official confirmation of the Ukrainian strike coming from the authorities.

The bridge over the Inhulets is part of the road from Kakhovska Hydro Power Plant. After the Ukrainian strike on the Antonivsky bridge on July 26, the road remained one of the two routes through which the Russians could transfer their equipment to the occupied Kherson.
