Possible Russian Sabotage Group Detained Outside Kyiv


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Seven men were detained in a forest area within Kyiv region, who are suspected to be members of an enemy subversive and reconnaissance group.

That's according to the Strategic Communications Department of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

'A special unit on a combat mission in the forest part of the Bucha community, tasked with tracking sabotage and reconnaissance groups deployed by the enemy, detained a group of men who failed to explain what they were doing in the woods,' the statement reads.

It is noted that the seven culprits, shown in the photo posted on social networks, were immediately handed over to the Security Service (SBU) operatives for further interrogation to investigate the team's intentions and possible plots.

As reported, since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the National Guard has detained 377 persons on suspicion of being part of the enemy sabotage and recon groups.
