Michel spoke with Armenian Prime minister Nikol Pashinyan and will speak as well with President Ilhan Aliyev of Azerbijan, said the official speaking on condition of anonymity.
His team and the EU Special Representative (for the South Caucasus) Toivo Klaar have been in intense contact with both sides over the past days, to push for immediate de-escalation and progress on all agenda items on the table via dialogue, the source noted.
