Doha: Saudi Arabia, Australia, Jordan and Uzbekistan have submitted Expressions of Interest to host the 2026 Women's Asian Cup, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) said yesterday.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the Federation is scheduled to submit to the continental federation an integrated file supported by all the requirements and conditions, including international and regional sporting events hosted by the kingdom over the past few years and received international acclaim.

The hosts will be announced next year.

Chairman of the Saudi Football Federation Yasser bin Hassan Al Misehal said in a statement that the announcement of the intention to run to host the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup comes in light of the generous and unlimited support from the Kingdom, which always pushes the federation to compete to host major regional and continental sports events.
