Turkey Shows Joint Coordination Center Monitoring 'Grain Corridors' In Istanbul


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Turkey's National Defense Ministry has shown the Joint Coordination Center monitoring 'grain corridors' in Istanbul.

The relevant video was posted by the Turkish National Defense Ministry on Twitter , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The vessel flying the flag of Sierra Leone, loaded with 27,000 tonnes of corn for Lebanon, has left the Port of Odesa this morning and continues sailing. The departure and passage are planned and controlled by the Joint Coordination Center,” the report states.

The departure route and humanitarian corridor used by the vessel, as well as the detailed issues regarding its control, are carried out in line with the procedures and principles agreed by the Joint Coordination Center.

A reminder that the first vessel sailing the 'grain corridor' is expected to arrive in Istanbul at 03:00 p.m., August 2, 2022, where it will undergo cargo inspection.
