July 7, 2022 – Dr. Elda Sinani is a successful public administrator and a transformational leader that elevates organizations through process improvement, building a culture of trust, and aligning technology with business objectives.
Prior joining Stamford, Dr. Sinani worked for Hartford in various leadership roles where she successfully prepared, managed and executed a multimillion-dollar operating & capital budget.
In her statement Mayor Simmons said –“I am thrilled to have Dr. Sinani join my administration, and I look forward to working with her.”
In addition to her Law degree from her home country, Dr. Sinani has a Master of Law degree from University of Connecticut – School of Law, and a Doctorate in Law & Public Policy from Northeastern University.
She has spoken at well-known institutions and worldwide universities on subjects of public policy, public budgeting, leadership development, human rights, and conflict resolution.
In her spare time, she teaches graduate students at Trinity College – Hartford, in subjects of a leadership development and public policy. Her goal is to empower students to become the next generation of public sector leaders by helping them develop their leadership, intellectual, and public budgeting skills.
