Ministry Of Health Provides Mobile Dialysis Service In Holy Sites


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Mina, July 07, 2022, SPA -- As part of its seasonal efforts to serve the pilgrims, the Ministry of Health prepared with a capacity of 1000 dialysis sessions a day, thirty thousand dialysis sessions per month, in the holy sites and Al-Madinah, to serve pilgrims with kidney failure.
The ministry has equipped all facilities with distinguished competencies by supporting them with well-trained medical staff, as the number of specialized doctors reached 57 and 228 nurses, in addition to the administrative staff, while the number of dialysis devices reached 251.
The ministry worked on coordinating between the kidney centers deployed in the hospitals of the holy sites and hospitals in Makkah, according to the movements of the pilgrims.
It is noteworthy that the Health Ministry has included the mobile dialysis service with 10 devices that are easy to transport and work on, and can be used anywhere during emergency transport and hospitals that do not have central dialysis units and inside the camps if necessary according to the competent authorities standards.
