(MENAFN) British representatives located in Moscow will now come to work at the UK embassy through a square named after the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR). Mayor Sergey Sobyanin’s office stated the decision on Tuesday.
The UK has been a backer of Kiev and Premier Boris Johnson has cautioned the Ukrainian administration against resolving the war with Russia with what he called a “bad peace.”
LPR soldiers have been fighting with Russian forces since the attack started in late February. On Sunday, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu claimed that the last miscellanies of Ukrainian troops had been driven out of the nation.
Experts in Moscow previously retitled a square, where the American embassy is placed, following the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
