Amman, July 6 (Petra) -- His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, the Regent, on Wednesday received Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi, who delivered a letter to His Majesty King Abdullah from Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik inviting His Majesty to visit Oman.
The meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, discussed Jordan's and Oman's deep ties, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields.
Discussions also covered the need to maintain coordination and consultation between the two countries on issues of mutual concern, in service of shared interests, and Arab causes.
Minister Albusaidi, for his part, expressed a desire to strengthen ties across sectors, praising Jordan's positions in pursuit of greater regional security and stability.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, as well as an Omani delegation.
