According to the Taliban security officials, unidentified assailants killed Ibn-e-Sina private institute Director, the self-proclaimed“philosopher of the world”, Dr. AnwarHaq Jabbarkhail in Kabul's Bagrami district.
The Taliban's spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Abdul Nafi Takor, Dr. Jabbarkhail's body was found in Kabul's Bagrami district and brought to forensics for further investigation.
According to him, Dr. Jabbarkhail's body was handed over to his family later on Tuesday, July 5.
The Taliban spokesperson for the Kabul police chief also stated that the group's forces have begun their investigation and that efforts are being made to apprehend the culprits.
According to Khalid Zadran, Taliban spokesman for the Kabul police chief, Dr. Jabbarkhail was mysteriously killed two days ago in Sayed Jamaluddin town, located in the Bagrami district of Kabul province.
While some public sources claim that Anwar
Haq Jabbarkhail was shot to death by unidentified assailants, others claim that his beheaded body was discovered.
Kabir Haqmal, the former spokesperson for the dissolved National Security Council, wrote on his Twitter handle,“Beheaded body of Dr. Anwar
haq Jabarkhail found in Kabul PD (police district) 15.”
Jabbarkhail's murder has not yet been claimed by any individual or group.
Social media has been flooded with comments in response to Jabbarkhail's murder.
Hamed Ilmi, who served as the deputy presidential spokesman in Hamid Karzai's tenure, wrote on his Facebook page that he sees the local media, especially Youtubers to have implicated in the murder of Dr. Jabbarkhail.

Haq Jabbarkhail allegedly served as the director of a private hospital in Kabul, and recently, his contentious remarks have attracted a lot of attention on social media.
He had long referred to himself as the“philosopher of the world,” and some social media users have always criticized him for his multiple marriages and ridiculed his discussions of polygamy.
