(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal has banned the activity of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
The court said this in a statement posted on its Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.
On July 5, the panel of judges of the Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal completed the consideration of administrative case No. 826/9751/14 on the banning of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
'The court has satisfied the claims of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine: the activities of the Communist Party of Ukraine have been banned; the property, funds and other assets of the party, its regional, city, district organizations, primary centers and other structural entities have been transferred to the ownership of the state,' the statement said.
The court said that the full text of the ruling on the banning of the party would be published on the official websites of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
