Raisi: Mutual relations lead to effective regional cooperation

(MENAFN) Ebrahim Raisi, the president of Iran, stated that fostering strong bilateral ties might result in efficient regional collaboration during a meeting with Jeyhun Bayramov, the foreign minister of Azerbaijan, on Monday afternoon.

The president listened intently to Bayramov's thorough report on the increased diplomatic talks and exchanges between the two nations and their impact on the development of ties and cooperation in a number of commercial, economic, and political spheres.

The necessity to foster fresh avenues of communication between Tehran and Baku was then highlighted, and the president stressed that there are no restrictions on advancing and solidifying relationships amongst Iran and Azerbaijan and that doing so can result in constructive regional collaboration.

Raisi also underlined the need of increasing the movement of people between the two nations, claiming that contacts and more visits by residents of the two adjacent countries is going to deepen their friendship.

The president expressed optimism that relations between the two neighbors would improve as a result of Ilham Aliyev, the president of Azerbaijan, visiting Tehran.
