Kuwait Bourse ends on red side


(MENAFN) The All Share Index decreased by 15.22 points, or 0.21 percent, to reach 7,162.7 points when the Kuwait Bourse finished on Monday.

In total, 14,947 transactions included 258.8 million shares worth KD 74 million (or around USD 266.4 million). On the other hand, the Main Market Index declined by 15.4 points to hit 5,593.4 points, a fall of 0.28 percent, as a result of 6,176 transactions standing at 150.6 million shares for a value of KD 18.4 million (roughly USD 66.24 million).

Through 108.15 million shares traded in 8,771 transactions totaling KD 55.5 million, the Premier Market Index dropped by 15.4 points to 7,928.99 points, a decrease of 0.19. (roughly USD 199.8 million).

The Main 50 Index for the Bourse dropped by 14.8 points to reach 5,755.9 points, down by 0.26 percent, with a stock volume of 136.2 done in 5,122 trades for KD 16.4 million (roughly USD 59.04 million).
