Spicejet Flight Makes Emergency Landing At Delhi Airport

In yet another incident, a SpiceJet aircraft operating from Delhi to Jabalpur returned to the Delhi airport on Saturday ( July 2) morning after the crew noticed smoke in the cabin.
The flight was at an altitude of 5000ft.
A SpiceJet spokesperson said that all the passengers were safely were disembarked.
A video of passengers in the flight filled with smoke was tweeted by the agency.
This is the second incident reported in 15 days. On June 19, a Delhi-bound SpiceJet plane, carrying 185 passengers and six crew members, made an emergency landing in Patna on Sunday afternoon, minutes after its take-off, as its cabin crew witnessed sparks coming from an engine, a senior government official said.
