Doha: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs signed a contract with Turkish Printing Press Bilnet printing and publishing to print 700,000 copies of the fifth edition of the Mus'haf Qatar in three sizes.
The contract was signed by Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department at the Ministry, and Ertugrul Ozturk, Director of the Printing Press.
The contract stipulates that the printing process will take a full year from the date of signing it, including the paper supply period, bringing the number of printed copies of the Mus'haf Qatar, with the completion of the fifth edition, to about 3.4 million copies since the launch in 2010.
The fifth edition of the Mus'haf Qatar includes three sizes, 150,000 copies of large size of 20 cm X 28 cm, 500,000 copies of medium size of 14cm X 20cm and 50,000 copies of small size of 10 cm X 14cm.
The first copy of Mus'haf Qatar was launched in 2010.
