The Hague, June 29 (Petra) -- A number of Jordanian media professionals from government agencies on Tuesday visited the House of Representatives of the Netherlands and attended part of its deliberations.
The visit was part of a two-stage training course sponsored by Shiraka, a Netherlands-MENA partnership, focusing on public communication skills.
The trainees received a brifeing from a Dutch lawmaker on the cycle of policy and decision making in the European nation.
The first phase of the program included theoretical and hands-on training on government communications and change management, technology and youth engagement, media relations and training, and passive communication during crises.
The Shiraka Training Program (STP) is part of the Shiraka Program, developed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support a sustainable democratic transition in the MENA region.
