(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, June 29 (KUNA) -- A young Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces during a military incursion into Jenin City in the West Bank early Wednesday, according to medics.
Mohammad Marei, 25, from Jenin refugee camp, died at Khalil Suleiman Hospital where he was taken for necessary medical treatment, the hospital's head Wissam Baker.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli shooting as a heinous crime that was committed by Israeli occupation forces in Jenin.
It held Israel responsible for this crime which exposed its insistence on escalation in occupied Palestinian territories. (end)
