Doha: Road toward Al Wakra including the Al Wakra Tunnel and Al Wakra Intersection will be closed to install a gantry as part of Al Wakra Main Road Project.
Public Works Authority Ashghal announced this on its Twitter account stating that an eight-hour road closure will be in place on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 2 am to 10 am.
The traffic will be diverted to Al Wakra New Road during this period. 'During the closure, designed for gantry installation as part of Al Wakra Main Rd project, road users coming from Doha towards Al Wakra can turn right towards Barwa Village and then turn left onto Al Wakra New Road and follow traffic signs to reach their destinations,' it added.
