Egyptian president travels to Bahrain while in Oman
(MENAFN) According to presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has landed in Oman for a two-country Gulf visit that begins in the eastern Gulf nation and finishes in Bahrain.
President Sisi was met at the Royal Airport by Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, according to the Oman News Agency. The Egyptian National Anthem was then performed by the Royal Guard of Oman's military band as they marched, and a field gun salute was fired thereafter.
The degree of cooperation with Bahrain and Oman, as well as the " special nature " of Cairo's connections with Gulf Arab countries, are both reflected in the tour, he claimed.
According to Mr. Rady, Mr. Sisi is going to discuss current regional and international challenges as well as situations that necessitate " the unity of efforts to safeguard Arab national security " during his meetings in Muscat and Manama.
The attempts to thwart any meddling in the domestic affairs of Arab nations meant to weaken their security is also going to be a key topic of discussion.
