(MENAFN) The war amid Russia and Ukraine will probably end with a negotiated conclusion, but that does not mean the West have to stop delivering weapons to Kiev or lessen measures pressure on Moscow, as stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
Stoltenberg updated the Spanish Newspaper El Pais “Most likely, this war will end at the negotiating table,” admitting that an outright army conquest will not happen.
“Our responsibility is to ensure that Ukraine is in the strongest possible position and to help it remain a sovereign and independent European nation,” he added.
The best way to support Kiev's view before meetings with Moscow is “to provide strong military support, economic support, and push through tough sanctions against Russia,” the NATO chief went on to say.
