Boris Johnson announces what would make him leave office
(MENAFN) The UK Premier Boris Johnson has revealed a drive that would make him resign. Any cabinet decision that would mean “abandoning” Ukraine in its war against Russia would make him “go,” Johnson updated BBC.
Johnson has been under fire for quite some time now over many problems, as well as a breach of Covid-19 measures, to which he later stated. A large figure of politicians have urged Johnson to leave his post, yet the embattled head of administration survived a no-confidence vote in June. He also updated BBC that “if it was put to me that we had to abandon the Ukrainian cause because it was simply getting too difficult,” it’ll be a loss too much to handle.
Johnson added “I would accept that I have lost a very important argument and I would go,” noting, he does not plan to resign.
