Permission has been granted to import 10 essential items through open accounts.
The Trade Ministry said that rice, flour, sugar, milk powder, dried chilli, dried sprats, potatoes, red dhal, red onions and watana dhal can be imported through open accounts.
The 10 essential items can be imported through open accounts from the first week of July.
The Trade Ministry said that the 10 essential items can be imported through open accounts for a period of two months. (Colombo Gazette)
