Russia responds to allegations about gas deliveries
(MENAFN) Russia has built a reputation as a dependable energy provider that "strictly fulfills all of its responsibilities," according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov on Thursday.
He was replying to Germany's accusation that the Nord Stream pipeline's decrease in natural gas supply is a "economic war" on Europe.
According to Peskov, Berlin was notified about the "service cycles" of the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline, which is scheduled for yearly maintenance from July 11 to July 21.
Peskov stated amid a daily meeting call with journalists, noting that the German side was conscious of all the details, “There is a certain maintenance schedule… It is better to receive information regarding this directly from Gazprom. But I repeat once again: Russia has been and remains a very, very reliable supplier of energy to Europe.”
