The win is awarded for the first miniaturized multi-radio chip antenna component tailored to the Internet of Things (IoT) applications and the cloud-based digital twin platform called Antenna Intelligence Cloud™ (AIC). Ignion was among 74 winners from a field of 1000 from 18 countries. The awards were based on a range of criteria including excellence, scale-up potential, level of risk, and implementation.

Ignion's winning submission is a novel antenna technology called Virtual Antenna®, invented and patented by Ignion with over 53 granted patents in Europe, US, and China and the revolutionary Antenna Intelligence Cloud™. Ignion's antenna solution has unique benefits when designing for IoT devices as any 'Virtual Antenna' component can work at any frequency (ranging from 698 MHz to 10.6 GHz) and with any protocol (LTE-M/NB-IoT, GNSS/GPS, Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, LoRa, and other ISM), providing design versatility and scalability.
