Doha, June 22 (Petra) -- The CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, Nawaf al-Sabah, Wednesday said that Kuwait could pump more oil into the market if necessary in response to the requests of its clients.
Al-Sabah stated, on the sidelines of his participation in the Qatar Economic Forum, that European clients are demanding more refined oil from Kuwait, explaining that global oil demand is still high despite the outbreak of crises in separate regions of the world.
He said that Kuwait started its first steps to develop oil and gas production at sea, noting that the 'Al-Zour' refinery will be operational at the end of this year, contributing to raising Kuwait's production capacity.
