(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index ended Monday at 2,539.20 points, increasing 0.23 percent against Friday's end.
Opening the week at 2,539.20 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 5.87 points from the prior end.
The index's worst rate throughout the day stood at 2,511.34 points, whereas its day-to-day peak stood at 2,555.10 points.
The total market worth of the BIST 100 was nearly 2.07 trillion Turkish liras (USD120.14 billion) by market end, with a day-to-day exchanging volume of 38.6 billion Turkish liras (USD2.23 billion).
Throughout Monday, 54 shares on the index increased, 42 dropped, and four were unaffected against the prior end.
The cost of an ounce of gold stood at USD1,840.05, whereas Brent crude oil exchanged at nearly USD113.67 a barrel at 6.25 PM regional time (1525GMT).
