Bushehr province grows 12 percent in exports in first two months


(MENAFN) According to local official the amount of export from Bushehr district, in the southwest of Iran, increased 12 percent in the opening two months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-May 21), in contrast with the same span of time in the last year.

Ali Soleymani, the director-general of the customs department of Busher city (center of the province), stated that more than 4.757 million tons of outputs were exported from Bushehr district in the named two-month period.

The official stated that petrochemical outputs and gas condensate as the main items exported from the district.

As previously announced by Behrouz Qarehbeygi, the director-general of the province’s customs department, the value of export from Bushehr province rose 67 percent in the past Iranian calendar year 1400 (ended on March 20), from its preceding year.
