Ukraine promises to use foreign weaponry to recapture Black Sea

(MENAFN) On Saturday, Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov claimed that Kiev's fight with Russia "will still win." Reznikov, like other Ukrainian authorities, has put his faith in foreign-supplied armaments, mainly Danish-made Harpoon anti-ship missiles.

Reznikov commended "several" nations for restocking Ukraine's inventories of 155mm artillery ammunition in a long Facebook post on Saturday, and praised the United States for a recent supply of M777 155mm howitzers as well as over 100 drones of various sorts.

He went on to say. Following a virtual conference of American partners on Monday, United States Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin declared that Denmark is going to provide an undetermined quantity of these missiles to Ukraine, “I would also like to inform that the coastal defence of our country will not only be strengthened by Harpoon missiles – they will be used by trained Ukrainian teams.”
