Turkiye to keep supporting Palestine for sovereign state
(MENAFN) In accord with Turkiye’s foreign minister, Turkiye is going to carry on supporting the Palestinian people for independent and free Palestine.
During a joint news conference with Palestinian foreign minister Riyad al-Maliki in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Mevlut Cavusoglu announced Turkiye is going to follow normalized relations with Israel in collaboration with the Palestinian Authority.
Cavusoglu went on to underline "Our support for the Palestinian cause is completely independent of our ties with Israel, but I would like to say that our Palestine policy cannot be changed."
He stated that maintaining the status and holiness of the Masjid al-Aqsa is significant for all Muslims.
He also said "On this occasion, we wish Allah's mercy once again to all our Palestinian brothers and sisters who lost their lives."
