(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette)

A maximum limit has been imposed on fuel pumped into vehicles at fuel stations operated by Lanka IOC.

This is in line with a similar restriction imposed by fuel stations operated by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).

Accordingly, fuel stations will only issue fuel worth Rs. 2,500 for motorcycles, Rs. 3,000 for three-wheelers, and Rs. 10,000 for cars, vans and SUVs.

There is no limit on the fuel pumped into buses, lorries and other vehicles used for commercial purposes. (Colombo Gazette)
