AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday met Iraqi Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah at Queen Alia International Airport, while the latter was on his way to London.
Huneiti and his Iraqi counterpart discussed“urgent security issues”, notably those related to military cooperation and security of border crossings between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Talks also referred to the latest regional and international developments, as well as means of advancing bilateral ties to serve the interests of the two countries' armed forces.
