Germany visits African nation

(MENAFN) The German chancellor, Olaf Scholz, arrived at Niger on the second day of his three-nation tour arrivals to Africa for the first time. He went on board to his first trip to Africa and passed by Senegal as well where he held meetings with Macky Sall, the President, is going to settle his visits in South Africa today.

Scholz, who is the chancellor since December, tweeted, “This is my first trip to the African continent as chancellor. I made a conscious decision to go to Senegal as the first stop. Because the partnership that connects us is becoming more and more important. We can count on each other.”
