Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index was increasing 0.36 percent to close Monday at 2,380.90 points, with a day-to-day exchange capacity of 37.6 billion liras (USD2.4 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira trade rate reached 16.0310 at 10 AM regional time (07:00GMT), surging from 15.8400 at Monday's end.
The euro/lira trading rate rose to 17.1350 from 16.8850, whereas a British pound exchanged for 20.1660 liras, increasing from 20.0300 at the previous end.
Brent crude oil traded for about USD109.44 a barrel at 10 AM regional time, whereas the ounce price of gold stood at USD1,850.70.
